Description
The Adios Pro 5 is adidas’ newest carbon plated super shoe, on sale since 22 September. It is lighter than the Adios Pro 4, which makes it a fast, responsive pick when you want everything to go right on race day.
What makes it a good race shoe:
- Lighter than before: about 177 g on average, around 23 g less than the Adios Pro 4
- High and springy: a 39 mm heel and 35 mm forefoot, with LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam
- Built for speed: a carbon plated design made to help you run fast and hold your pace
- Race day shoe: meant for the start line and a few key workouts, not for daily kilometres
Wear it in a few workouts before race day, so you know how it feels at your goal pace. Keep your easy runs for your Triumph 24 and Vomero Plus, and save the Adios Pro 5 for the days that count.
